You’ve probably noticed that storytelling is having a major moment. At this Hands-on Workshop, you’ll learn some background on how to tell a good story on stage from Liz Neeley, executive director of The Story Collider, a series that focuses on our personal relationships with science. Neeley will go over some important aspects of the craft, such as having a great first line, setting up stakes, knowing a story but not memorizing it and developing the proper pacing. She will also hear and judge some pitches from the audience.
