DCSWA Happy Hour with a Trivia Twist!

Get out your old science textbooks, start reading nerdy Wikipedia entries before bed and summon up the neurons where you store all those geekily fascinating bits of useless knowledge because the DCSWA Virtual Happy Hour and Trivia Night will be here on Tuesday, October 19, starting at 6:30 pm ET (virtual doors open at 6:00 pm ET for casual schmoozing).
Jeopardy wannabees will compete as individuals (organizing group trivia was just too hard!), pitting their memories and accumulated gray matter against other challengers in four rounds of trivia: biological science, physical science, social science and the entropy round (where questions come randomly from any of the previous categories).
At the end of the evening, we’ll crown the 2021 DCSWA Trivia Champion. No prizes for the winner except the smug satisfaction and fusion-like lasting glow of having bested the greatest minds in Greater Washington, D.C., science communications.
