In-Person (Yes, You Read Correctly) Happy Hour with AAAS Mass Media Fellows

Believe it or not, we’re having a real live, in-person, out-in-the-world, run-up-a-bar-tab DCSWA happy hour. And this one is special because we’ll be joined by this year’s AAAS Mass Media Fellows!
This is always a fun event, where DCSWA members get to meet the Fellows while they’re in DC for orientation and welcome them, not only to our city, but also to the family of science writers. We’ve chosen a place with lots of outdoor space (Penn Quarter Sports Tavern), so we can get together, drink, be merry and stay safe. We will be following current CDC and local face mask guidance, whichever happens to be more stringent at the time.
