Johns Hopkins Science Writers Speaker Series: Travis Rieder

Join the Johns Hopkins Science Writing Program for a lunchtime conversation about the opioid epidemic with Travis Rieder, a research scholar at the Johns Hopkins Berman Institute of Bioethics. Travis is the author of the forthcoming book In Pain: A Bioethicist’s Personal Struggle with Opioids, which explores the role of prescription opioids in American medicine. Faculty member Brian Simpson, editor-in-chief of Global Health NOW and editor of the Hopkins Bloomberg Public Health Magazine, will moderate the discussion.
