Digital Content Specialist

I.M. Systems Group, Inc. (IMSG), a science and technical services contracting company supporting the U.S. Federal Government, is seeking a Digital Content Specialist to support NOAA’s National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS) in Silver Spring, Maryland.

This position is embedded within the NOAA Environmental Visualization Laboratory (VizLab), a multidisciplinary team with expertise spanning science communications, data visualization, graphic design, education, software development, and systems engineering.

The successful candidate will provide communications support to the NESDIS Headquarters Communications Team, with primary responsibility for science writing, editorial support, and social media content that communicates NESDIS science, satellite missions, and environmental data to internal and external audiences. The role also includes video editing work focused on short form informational content using existing satellite imagery and visualization assets.

This is an ONSITE position at NESDIS Headquarters in Silver Spring, Maryland.
