The annual DCSWA mixer with AAAS Fellows is back on Thursday, June 2nd at Vapiano in Chinatown. Come grab a drink and munch on the provided pizza* while getting to meet this year’s class of AAAS Mass Media Fellows. The Mass Media Fellowships, now in its 42nd year, places science graduate students at media sites for a 10-week fellowship during which they get a taste of science news reporting. Many DCSWA members are former fellows. Come by to socialize and discuss science, journalism, beer, or whatever!
