Informal, on-the-record conversation with Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz

DCSWA members are invited to an informal discussion with the Secretary of Energy, Ernest J. Moniz, to highlight recent issues in science and technology. The event will take place on Thursday, November 12 in the large auditorium in the at the Department of Energy’s Forrestal building.

Among the issues the Secretary is expected to discuss are:

  • Technological solutions to combat climate change on the Road from Paris
  • Spurring next-generation advanced manufacturing and supercomputing technologies
  • The role of the national labs in the science behind the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA)

Additionally, the Secretary will entertain questions from the group.

Registration is required. Please register by completing and submitting the online form at http://science.energy.gov/comms/rsvp/. Upon submission, an automated email message confirming your registration will be sent to the email address you provide.

Check-in will begin at 5:30pm. You will need to have a property pass to enter the building with a laptop so please plan accordingly, as this may delay your entry into the building.
